  • Zurich Connect THE BILL
I designed and directed these four break bumpers through NTS for Publicis UK. They featured during the ad breaks on ITV's prime time cop show The Bill and feature the characters 'Orange' and 'Blue', voiced by Alexander Armstrong and Marc Warren.

  • Cosa Raccomanda Lei?
It's 1962. In search of a slice of La Dolce Vita, a middle-aged British man flies to Rome. But having learned just a single Italian phrase, his plans to live the high life soon begin to come unstuck.

My puppet stop frame AIR scheme film for Channel 4 features the incredible voice talent of the late great Victor Spinetti. There is also a cameo voiceover by Nanette Newman and a score from Italy's finest; Paolo Negri and The Link Quartet.

  • A Liar's Autobiography
I directed, designed and animated the opening and closing sections of the recently released 'A Liar's Autobiography'. This stereoscopic 3D feature film is based on the life of Monty Python's Graham Chapman. I designed and built the set as I would have created a stop motion set. I then screen grabbed the Python's faces from the Oscar Wilde sketch in the original Flying Circus series and created the character puppets in Photoshop. The material was then animated and composited in After Effects.I directed, designed and animated the opening and closing sections of the recently released 'A Liar's Autobiography'. • A Liar's... Behind the Scenes
I directed the opening and closing scenes of this animated feature film and these production stills document different parts of the film making process. From the set build in my garden shed and character design to the stereo back plate shoot. Also documented is the live action shoot at the BFI screening room used to create the footage of the theatre audience.

  • 'Not To Scale'
This print was the result of an in-house brief set to Not To Scale Director's, to create an image simply; not to scale. So, what could be more appropriate than one of my puppet's building a scale Airfix model of the Not To Scale offices at 13 Mannette Street? You may recognise the puppet from a previous incarnation. Shot as a digital still and artworked in Photoshop. The print was auctioned for charity.
